The Devonian
This run features GWR Castles 5029 and 5051 double-headed from Bristol to Plymouth.
It includes Whiteball Bank and great views of the locomotives around the long curve at Cowley Bridge on the approaches to Exeter.
Beyond Exeter there is spectacular footage of the famous sea wall near Dawlish and Teignmouth followed by storming climbs of Dainton and Rattery. Listen to the thunderous exhaust from 5029 and 5051 as they pound up the banks — the last part of Dainton heading for the tunnel entrance is definitely a bit special!
